Why buy Soap?

Already a soap lover? Or maybe you are trying traditional soap for the first time. Either way, I am glad you are thinking about buying soaps By Frankie. Here's why I think cold pressed soaps are special...

They smell amazing...
I use carefully selected essential oils and blend them in each individual recipe (except Goats Milk, which is unscented). The smell is so wonderful, I use them to lightly scent drawers and wardrobes. That is why I have designed my packaging so that each soap can be easily hung, or slipped between clothes.

Soap is moisturising and full of natural goodness...
Unlike commercial soaps, which can be drying, traditional cold pressed soaps are full of oils and butters to keep your skin soft. Virgin Olive Oil,  Organic Castor Oil, Avacado Oil, Shea Butter and Coconut Butter and Sustainable Palm Oil make up the base of my recipes.

Apart from Goats Milk and Honey, all my soaps are Vegan. The scents in the soap come from carefully sourced, high quality essential oils, which are combines together to create different top/base notes in the fragrance.

Soap helps keep you safe...
You may have read in the news that Soap can kills nasties, including Coronavirus. It is true. Unlike hand gel, soap contains fatty lipids which will bind to the skin of a virus and break it down. That is why washing your hands regularly with soap and water, is the best way to stay germ free.

They last a long time
Handmade soap may cost more, but it lasts much longer than the factory made variety. They also take longer to make  - By Frankie Soaps are cured and dried for 3-5 weeks after un molding. By this point they are ready for use and have a shelf life of over 2 years.

Soap is a sensory experience...
There is something nostalgic about soap. It takes me back to my childhood. Soap was used in the bath to remove dust from long days playing outside. There was always a bar of lavender scented soap in my Nan's bathroom. The sight, smell and feel of soap on my skin means something special to me. And it is why I wanted to create something special to share with you too.
